Saudi arabia princess

Princess Maha al-Sudairi, the wife of Saudi Arabia's Interior Minister, is holed up in a Paris luxury hotel claiming diplomatic immunity after refusing to pay a $24 million tab she ran up at the city's ritziest boutiques. Al-Sudairi, whose husband Prince Nayef bin Abdul Aziz is a member of Saudi Arabia's royal family and is second-in-line to the throne, racked up the impressive debt on a year-long spree at the French capital's high-end clothing, jewelry and lingerie boutiques, the London Telegraph reports. In all some 30 businesses have been stiffed including Dior, jewelry shops Chaumet and Victoria Casal, lingerie emporium O Caprices De Lili, and the famed Hotel de Crillon.

I couldn’t open my eyes because unfortunately, I was walking on the opposite direction as the wind. The wind picked up the sand and smacked me right in the face, in the arms, neck, all over! When I got home, I was surprised to find sand in my brassiere because of the sand attack!! Also, I swear I was closing my mouth but WTH, I had sand in my tongue, too.

The weather this morning was gloomy. I miss the glorious sunrise!

One thing I’ve learned while living here is that, we really get lots of beautiful sunrise in the winter months of November-February. When the summer season approaches, we get the boring gray clouds in the morning and of late, strange weather like sandstorm-rain-hot sun-rain again kind of freakish weather.

This morning when I drove to work, it rained! Talk about big fat drops of rain and strong winds, like in tropical countries. It was a little scary to drive in the rain. This sounds strange but after more than two years of living and driving in Dubai, the sight of the car window wipers hard at work disturbs me. A lot. I mean, we only use these wipers a few times a year so the constant movement of these 2 black things in front of me is pretty distracting.

But who am I to complain, when usually during this time of the year that we sweat and heave and sigh of the heat and Turkish bath like humidity, this morning’s cloud cover brought down the temperature to a lovely 26C!

From where are you and how is the weather in your area? It it a lovely spring day?

Edinburgh Castle

On a dark night, lights cast mysterious shadows on the Edinburgh Castle. The Edinburgh Castle has a long haunting past, one of which involves the Witches Well. Located in the northeast corner of the castle, the Witches Well commemorates the death of more than three hundred women. They were accused of practicing witchcraft between 1479 and 1722.

New york apartments

The five-bedroom, 5,500-square-foot (about 511 square meters) Mediterranean-style estate is in a gated community in San Antonio, Texas, where Parker plays for the Spurs. Priced at $895,777 (about €694,000), it includes 4.5 bathrooms, three living areas, “massive interior columns,” a pool, a spa, media room and a master bedroom suite with a “fabulous double sided fireplace that opens to a whirlpool tub in the master bath,” according to the listing. There’s also a basketball court, of course.

Parker purchased the house when he first joined the Spurs in 2001, when he was 19, the listing agent says.

New york skyline at night view

Well, the times coming close and almost all the preparations have been done for my trip to New York for the 2007 holiday season. I won’t be travelling alone. I will be travelling with my mate Gavin. The schedule is set in place ala dates. We travel from Edinburgh down to London on the 24/12 stay overnight and fly from Heathrow to JFK on Christmas day. Arrive in New York around 11.30am. We are booked into the Travel Inn on 42nd Street. It’s a very good location just west of Times Square. The only thing we have booked up in New York is my dream present to myself (well actually my mother is paying for it as a Christmas present) we are going to see the New England Patriots vs. New York Giants on 29/12, that last game of the regular season. So let’s hope it will complete a 16-0 season for the Pats. Other than that we have lists of places we want to visit. But we will take than as is. Of course, it will be Times Square for the crystal ball drop to welcome in 2008. So expect lots of pictures from me and Gavin in the actual

blog. We then set of on 03/01 for Charlotte NC to visit my friends Donna and Greg for a few days. I’m looking forward to seeing them both again and showing Gavin around Charlotte. We then fly back up to New York on 08/01.

New york at night

New York City Night Life, ( NightLife ), RMC ( Mr. Roger Meredith Christian ) depicts the action and luster of the night life in New York City. This is just a taste of what really goes on. Moreover, this is the city that nevers sleeps, and thus everything which is possible for a city to do is done here 24 hours a day. What this also entails is the fact that New York City is world's cultural center fait accompli - though not fully recognized by others...ie the proud French concerning their Paris, or the Saudis/Arabs about their Medina.

New York City is actually the real city of nightlife, where knights and ladies of artistic venues proclaim their bulls of favor and courtesies to those who wish to enter their various worlds of the arts. And since everything is included in this mass of cultural varities, or vanities even if you like to hopsotch - hop, skip, and jump, there is someone with a side walk just for you to play, along with the included colored jazzy chalks to outline the fancy squares on the concrete sidewalk surface.
